So the xiaomi mi 10i comes with 108 megapixel quad camera setup and a 16 megapixel selfie camera, so let’s find out how the camera performs in this price segment. So if this is your first time on, this channel do hit that red subscribe button and also hit the bell icon to get notified of all the videos we publish so coming back to the review. Let’S first have a look at the camera hardware. The mi 109 has a 108 megapixel primary sensor with f 1.75 aperture and the new samsung hm2 sensor. The sensor has nine. In one pixel binning, along with 2.1 micron super pixel, there is an 8 megapixel ultra wide angle, lens a 32 megapixel macro sensor and a 2 megapixel depth sensor. There is also led flash included. The front camera is a 16 megapixel shooter with f 2.45 aperture. So let’s find out how the camera performs. Let’S first have a look at the video quality. The phone can record 4k videos in 30, fps and the quality looks good and the colors are also good. While there is a bit of saturation at times – but it is not a major issue though, but the disappointing aspect is the lack of 4k 60 fps and lack of eis for 4k videos.

The phone also comes with 1080p resolution at 60fps, and here again there is no eis offered, while the quality is quite ok, the lack of stabilization will be a deal breaker for many. The 1080p resolution at 30 fps has stabilization offered and the quality looks good. There is good colors and details along with good sharpness, Music. The ultra wide angle, camera retains the same color, reproduction and stabilization of the primary camera, which is quite good, and you can also shoot 1080p videos using the ultra wide angle camera, but the sharpness levels aren’t. As good as the primary camera – and we felt a bit too soft at times, the phone also does macro videos in 720p, which is quite good. Xiaomi. Mi 10i can also do slow motion videos in 960fps at 720p and the quality is quite decent. Moving on to the daylight captures the 108 megapixel camera does a good job with good details and sharpness levels. The colors are quite good and there is no saturation issues. In fact, the colors are more or less natural, unlike xiaomi’s mid range smartphones, which often comes with higher saturation levels. The sharpness levels are impressive, and this is evident when you pixel peep, the new hm2 sensor does an impressive job in bringing up details. The dynamic range is also quite good, so in terms of daylight, we don’t really have anything to complain, as it is one of the few smartphones which provide great details at this price segment.

The phone can also shoot images in one or eight megapixel resolution, which can be toggled in the settings here. The details are impressive and it produces great sharpness levels too, but the size of the images are often higher. Moving to the ultra wide angles, camera the samples have decent colors, although at times exposure isn’t, the perfect one, but considering that this is an 8 megapixel shooter, it still produces decent results. The details are good while they are not as sharp as a primary camera. They are definitely usable with good dynamic range as well. Next step, let’s move on to the close up shots taken with a me 10i here you can see that it has come well with adequate colors and good details as well. Colors are once again natural and it does a really good job. Overall, the phone also comes with 2 megapixel macro sensor, which we feel is one of the best we have tested in this price segment. It produces good, colors, great sharpness levels and the overall, the macros are really usable and one of the best we have seen in this price segment. Next, moving on to the portraits, the meat and eye produces good portraits with good skin tones and xiaomi is one of the pioneer in terms of great portraits, and the mi 10i is no exception here. Overall, the portraits looks great and the edge detection is really impressive. On the meat and eye now, moving on to the low light captures with f 1.

75 aperture and the new sensor, the phone can take some good images in low light conditions and also indoor lighting conditions with artificial light. You can see the camera does its part to keep the noise levels too low, but when light drops further and in extreme lower condition, there is a bit of noise, but it is better to go with the night mode. The night mode can bring in better images with excellent details and sharpness levels, probably one of the really good camera smartphones in this price segment. With respect to low light performance, the phone also comes with additional options like clone mode, which we have seen on xiaomi’s flagship smartphones. Along with that, there is also vlog mode: dual video and long exposure modes among other features. Finally, the selfie camera, the 16 megapixel selfie camera can take some good selfies. There is good details, dynamic range and colors are also nice. The skin tones and sharpness silhouettes are also quite good. We have taken the selfies with the beauty mode turned off since selfies are more of a personal choice. You can judge based on the clarity. The phone also comes with portrait mode for selfies, and here again it is quite good in terms of edge detection. So this is the front facing camera sample taken with the xiaomi 105, so it can record videos in 1080p resolution. So you can check yourself out the clarity of the videos and also the audio from the front camera sample on the xiaomi v10i.

So summing up, how good is the xiaomi meet and i, in terms of camera, the meet ni has good daylight captures portraits excellent macros and good selfies, along with good low light abilities. But there are a few areas of improvement, like the video recording, where the company can probably include an eis option for 4k videos, along with eis for 1080p at 60fps. But without doubt we can say that the meter9 definitely shines in the camera department and probably one of the best we have seen in this price segment, so that is a detailed camera review of the meet night. So what do you guys think of the camera on the meat and i do share in your thoughts in the comment section.
