This device from oppo is their first phone to run color os 11.1, but before we get into the software features, let’s talk about the design of this phone it’s, a very cool looking device. This is the aurora blue color. The back of the phone is a matte blue, the edges are reflective, but still keep the same. Color and the glass surrounding the camera is also reflective. The buttons feel high quality and have a very satisfying click. The oled display is 6.55 inches and has a 1080 by 2400p resolution. The refresh rate is 90 hertz, you’ll notice. The display has a slight curve on the edges. The oppo reno 5 pro comes in other color options, one of them being galactic silver. The galactic silver color has a very unique feature that you’ll notice once the lights go out: the bottom of the phone glows as well as the glass around the camera. This glow feature makes it one of my favorite designs that i’ve seen for a Music phone Music designing customization is implemented throughout this phone. You can personalize the always on display with custom patterns, it’s easy to create a new design that will match your aesthetic Music. Overall, the design of this phone is pretty great. Now let’s get into the performance phone has a demensity, 1000 plus chipset and the model i have has 8 gigabytes of ram and 128 gigabytes of storage, there’s also an option for 12 gigabytes of ram and 256 gigabytes of storage.

The chipset and display are not ideal for gaming. The 90 hertz display is fine, but doesn’t have the same effect as some of the higher frame rate devices on the market right now. The other thing that i tend to find bad for gaming is curved displays. The style of a curved screen often makes the edges of the screen more difficult to interact with, but the curve on the reno 5 pro isn’t, quite as prominent as other phones like the oppo find x2 pro so it’s, not quite as bad. In this case, there are some features from coloros that can significantly improve your gaming experience. Coloros gamespace allows you to switch between low power mode, balanced mode and competition mode. These different modes can have a big impact on your phone’s performance and battery life. The game assistant is a feature that is always accessible even in game. The assistant lets you change the touch sensitivity of your display. You can also use game, focus mode which blocks out notifications and other annoyances that may interrupt your game. Then you’ve got screenshots screen, recording and a few other interesting features in here. Besides that the phone runs very well apps launch, very fast system. Performance is good and multitasking is something you’ll never have to think about. The cameras are another strong point of this phone. The main camera is 64 megapixels, with an 8 megapixel ultra wide angle, camera 2, megapixel macro camera and a 2 megapixel mono camera.

Then the selfie camera is 32. Megapixels here are some shots. I got from these cameras. Music Music color os 11 has been out for a while, but the reno 5 pro is running the latest version and has some things that i like in it. Coloros 11.1 feels much like a stock google phone, but with some good personalization features, it’s easy to change. The icon style font and display size, edge lighting, fingerprint style and, of course, the always on display. One of my favorite features from color os 11 is oppo relax if you’re someone who’s into ambient sounds and music to help you relax or sleep. This is the best app in this category. I’Ve used plenty of third party apps for this, but for some reason, color os decided to go all in and make the best ambient sounds app ever choose which types of sounds. You want to listen to then tweak each sound until you’ve created your ideal environment. You can even choose specific locations in the world to listen to an ambiance. Inspired by that spot, it’s easy to translate any specific block of text by using a gesture to capture a partial screenshot, then you can select, translate and see your translated text. Flex drop allows you to turn any app into a floating window or a picture in picture setup. So overall, color os 11 is a great os and runs very well on the oppo reno 5 pro.
