Welcome back to my channel uh review this today, i’m, going to be reviewing two microphones. Both are rated for dslr cameras and smartphones. The first is the moki mc1 1 it’s a pretty small microphone, and the second is the comica v30 light it’s a little larger than the the mo key, but we’ll see how they perform let’s, see what accessories come with the devices. The coma cut comes with a standard foam around the mic. No additional accessories come packaged within the box. The bow key brand does come with a phone. It also comes with one of the hairball accessories that you can use outside a wire for attaching to a camera and a wire separate wire for a smartphone and a small little pouch. So currently i am using the moki microphone. I am three feet away from the phone uh this, so this will be a test at three feet away. So i i am now six feet away from the microphone. I am using the moki microphone. I am currently nine feet away from the phone and i am using the moki microphone. I am currently 12 feet away from the phone and i’m using the moki microphone i’m. Currently speaking to you using the moki microphone one, two, three four: this is just a test. Now i am three feet away from the phone using the comica microphone. I am six feet away from the phone using the comica microphone. I am nine feet away from the phone using the comica microphone.
I am 12 feet away from the phone using the konica microphone. I am currently using the comica microphone as you can hear my voice right now, one two three four: this is a test. So what did everybody think of the two uh microphones? Hopefully you liked my simple review. Let’S have a look at the microphones again in close detail, so here we have the comica v30 light microphone, as noted before, the wire is physically attached to the microphone itself, which you can connect to your phone or your camera. One detail: i probably am a little afraid of the frame or mechanism that holds the fan, that kind of gives it a little bit of absorption for shock seems um. I don’t know a little bit fragile to me, so uh you’d have to be careful with this. If it i’m afraid, if it drops or something presses down on it hard, this will break very easily, but otherwise the microphone is. You know pretty reasonably well built the mechanism on the bottom that locks into your foam cages or camera works very well on the back of the microphone there’s. A little uh switch that you can flip back and forth from phone to camera. Okay, so that is the comica microphone. Let’S have a look now at the moki mcm 1 microphone. The wire can easily disconnect from the microphone and be replaced with a version for the camera it can disconnect from its base.
You can remove the sponge from the microphone, so you can use it without the sponge or replace it with the uh. The hairball for for wind i mean the the base, is, is plastic. You know so, like anything, you put too much force on it. It probably will break the little locking mechanism i don’t find it is as good as the comica version, because if you try to tighten this a little bit too much, it kind of skips a thread, but otherwise you know it’s. Okay hope you, like my review on these two microphones. If i had to settle between one or the other, i think i am leaning towards the moki uh version. Uh. The sound i find is a little uh higher in tone versus the comica is a little more deeper in sound um from what i can tell. They are both great microphones, as you saw, they pick up sound, very well from distances as far as 12 feet away. In the test that i performed in my home i’m sure the results could be different if you were to do it outside, but indoors. Uh 12 feet wasn’t an issue at all. As far as i can tell um, but if i had to choose between the two right now, i would i’m leaning towards the moki brand or the mulkey microphone. Just because the sound to me sounds a little bit. Uh higher uh, as as the mo as the komikai, is a little bit uh like fuller or bassier.
So for my personal tastes um, i would pick the moki microphone over the comica, hopefully uh. This will help you out in choosing uh between the two or um at least help you out in terms of looking for a microphone for your needs. But good luck. Thank you again for uh. Coming to my channel and uh. Please remember to give a like and uh subscribing to the channel i’ll try to bring regular videos as soon as as much as possible. Thank you again.
