I hope you’re doing well hope, you’re, safe and healthy let’s begin right away with this video. This right here is the xiaomi redmi note 10 pro as always, i’m going to divide my video in several sections. The first section that we are going to discuss is the build quality and the design, and, as you see, my version is the gradient bronze version. You also got a different color, such as glacier, blue and onyx gray. I really like this color it’s different than other colors, that i’ve seen on a smartphone. I really like the finish on it. The phone itself is made from plastic, and the back right here is: has a nice soft touch to it very glossy like and very premium feeling it looks very premium to me at least let’s begin with the back side of this phone. We got the nice glossy finish so there we also have the camera bump. The camera. Butt is actually like a like a little stair, like a camera bump on a camera bump that make any sense, but there we got the main camera that has the 108 megapixels. We got the 8 megapixel ultra wide and the 5 megapixel stelling macro camera, so we got three cameras. We also got a 2 megapixel depth sensor and also a little flash on it more on that later. In this video let’s talk about the top of the phone. What do we got right there? We got the headphone jack, a speaker in the microphone and a ir blaster directly to the bottom.
There we have the usbc input again a speaker and a microphone input on the right side. We got a fingerprint scanner which actually works. Really well and the volume rockers on the left side, we got the dual sim tray card with a micro sd card slot as well, so that you can easily upgrade your phone and the version that i got right here is the six gigs of ram version with 64 gigs of memory storage and at the front we got the beautiful 6.67 inch, amoled dot display 120 hertz with a touch sampling rate of 240 hertz. But in all honesty the moment that you see the screen and you have it turned on. It looks really good guys, looks really really good i’m going to tell you more about it later in this video, but in overall the design, how it looks, looks really premium like and we got a little punch hole camera there. The selfie camera that has the 16 megapixels camera – i can do 1080p up to 30 frames per second, so no 4k there, but more on that in the camera section so and overall the build how it feels in hand quite lightweight. It weighs only 193 grams, so that is actually quite lightweight for this phone, not that heavy for this type of build. It feels lighter than the previous version. The previous version was the redmi note, 9 pro that one feels more heavier, not sure why this for what this one feels like more balance and lightweight, and also what i really like is that this phone has a ip53 rating.
So that means that this phone is dust and moisture resistant, so really nice and really good, and for this price point i paid 250 euros. That is a great deal guys let’s talk about what is inside of the phone and more about the performance right. So we got on the inside the calcum snapdragon 732 g and adreno 618 gpu. So this is a really decent mid range. Processor it’s not like a high end flagship kind of processor in it, but in overall it works really well, together with this me ui, it works perfectly fine. A lot of people are talking about the ads, but when you install this and set up your uh like first set up after unboxing, your smartphone you’ll have a little option where it says: personalize your ads and stuff, like that. You can just disable that and you’re good to go and also in the settings. You can just easily disable all those ads. Really nice really good, but still you find some bloatware that you don’t really use, so you can easily remove that. For instance, i don’t use ebay anymore like really long time ago, and i can just easily remove that from the smartphone. But in overall opening apps and switching through apps and just multitasking, you can use a floating windows feature which is actually really nice. So you can multitask while watching a youtube video, for instance, it works really well and very smooth without no hiccups and with the 120 hertz as well.
You know it just feels really smooth and really fast. It doesn’t feel like a budget smartphone. However, there are some limitations when you are gaming, and you want to play a high like, like a more graphics, more graphics, demanding game right, such as fortnite, for instance, which is playable. But you have to play it on a lower frame rate and also on the lowest graphic setting, and to me honestly that isn’t really enjoyable. Other games such as genjen impact, is really playable also on a higher settings, but your phone will get really hot as well, and i don’t think that is very healthy for the phone. So, in order to have a nice gaming experience, you really need to tweak settings in some games, but, as i mentioned for lighter games, this will work really well without no hiccups does the phone get hot at all times? No just for general use, you know. So if you are taking photos, videos and just watch youtube and watch instagram stuff like that, checking out your email, all that stuff it doesn’t get hot at all and what is also cool is, and that also shortly mentioned – is that the fingerprint scanner on the side Works really well, the face recognition works really well, and i don’t have any issues with that and my mindset is like when you buy a cheap phone. There are some limitations, like your software experiences, is a little bit slower right, but here in this phone, the software experience is just very smooth, especially with 120 hertz.
It works really really well. Let’S talk about a different topic right now. Let’S talk about the camera so from a smartphone. I don’t really care too much about cameras from a smartphone, but for this 108 megapixels. I was really intrigued really interested to see what i can create with this smartphone. So i took the smartphone out for a little city trip here in the netherlands here in rotterdam. I went there to get it with my family just to explore a little bit and have some fun take some photos and some videos. My experience with this, especially with the main camera, which i really like, is that the main camera for photos, but also with the ultra white and detailing macro everything, looks really detailed and really good. You know you can also shoot in raw so that you have more flexibility colors coming out of it, the image quality, the details, of course, don’t expect like mirrorless camera like quality or like dslr quality, but it comes really really close and it can easily rival up Against higher end smartphones, such as the iphone 12 pro max the samsung galaxy s21, it can easily rifle at those levels. So for photography, i really like all the things on it. I really like the features as well. We also got some kind of cloning feature, which is a nice bonus. I guess, but you know it’s fun to use, but sometimes but not really necessary, but it’s really nice to do it.
108 megapixels. I don’t use it that often, but if you really need to you can go ahead and use that go into the details, and you will be very pleased with the results so let’s check out the video of these back cameras. Video on the smartphone can be really good or can be really bad, and this one falls right in the middle and good lighting conditions. The 4k 30 frames per second looks really nice keep in mind. There is no stabilization in 4k 30 frames, but we do have stabilization in a 1080p mode, so that is actually really good and looks really good as well. Don’T expect the highest quality. This is still here. You can definitely see there that there are some limitations if compared to a higher end phone, such as the iphone 12 from max, for instance, so the selfie camera looks really nice as well in good lighting conditions but uh when it comes down to low light conditions. The image falls apart, real quickly, as you see here, the images are looking really really soft right. So that is something that you have to keep in mind. If you want to use the selfie camera, you better use it with at least some good lighting conditions in order to get the best results possible. The video that you can capture with the front facing camera is 1080p up to 30 frames per second, and it looks decent again in good lighting conditions.
It looks really good, but don’t expect the highest quality out there. But what happens when you are in bad lighting conditions? You can switch to night mode right but night mode. What can i say about night mode? It’S? Not that great it looks. Okay, it looks decent in some occasions, but sometimes it just doesn’t look good at some times so to me at least for like really dark conditions, i want to recommend using the night mode. It just looks really weird so let’s recap in general, in good lighting conditions. The images coming out of this phone are looking really good right. Everything looks really properly fine, very nice detailed. That also applies to the tele macro ultra wide angle and also the main camera. They just look really good in great lighting conditions, but keep in mind in lower light conditions in darker areas. The image will fall apart, also forgot to mention. There are also extra features such as the cloning mode. Dual video. All that stuff looks really good. Looks really nice and i also like these features – i i tend to use it whenever i i want to use it and it works really. Well, let’s talk about the battery life, it has a 5 020 milliamp hour battery and and overall, the battery life is really good. If you use the 60 hertz mode right, 60 hertz, it will last you for roughly a day and a half. So more than a day of smartphone use – and i use it like for photo taking video taking watching things on youtube social media and play a game or two right, so 60 hertz.
It will last you for at least one day, 120 hertz. If you don’t use the phone too much, you can also use it for one full day. But if you use it like me like for a little bit of gaming, a little bit of social media, a little bit of email, usage and stuff like that searching things on the internet, using your gps and stuff like that and bluetooth, it will last you like. Until the evening, right so at least a whole day, but in the evening you need to charge this phone right, but charging this phone, it does come included with a charger, a usbc charger that is and how it charges is really really fast and within an hour Your battery is fully charged and you’re good to go. As you see here in this little clip, you can just see it just rising up really really fast. So for me, the battery life, it is really really good all right. So the final verdict. What can we say about this phone? What can i say about the xiaomi redmi note 10, pro. First of all, the build quality, how it feels in hand is really good. The screen itself, 120, hertz, 1080p oled, looks really good as well. The cameras in good lighting conditions is really rifling up against the uh. The higher end phones and the battery life is really good as well. So those things combined, i have to say that i can highly recommend this phone to anyone that is interested in a budget.
Smartphone in the mid range class right. I actually think this feels more than just a mid range class. It feels like almost premium like, but the reason why i say almost is because there are some things that are that is lacking, so it doesn’t have a 5g connectivity. It doesn’t do really well for video right. It is possible, but don’t expect the highest level out there for that. You really need to check out the higher end. Phones, third thing that you may want to check is the software updates so i’m, not sure how many years she will get with the software updates. For android at least you know – and the fourth reason may be, that this phone doesn’t have any wireless charging capabilities right. So that is also something that you may want to consider. If you want to buy this phone might be deal breakers for some out there, but for me at least these are not deal breakers, and this right here will be my new daily driver for the following year or two so that’s it for this video. Thank you again for watching see you in the next one as always, stay safe, stay healthy. If you got any questions, let me know in the comment section down below and i’ll be seeing you in the next one that’s all good luck.
