This right here is the vivo x60 pro there’s, also a vivo x60 and an x60 pro plus. So what makes this phone special is the gimbal stabilization, 2.0 and, of course, the company’s partnership with zeiss optics. This phone is also the first smartphone to come in india, with the snapdragon 870 chipset under the hood, hello, everyone. My name is aman, rashid you’re, watching mr phone, and this is my first impression of the vivo x60 pro. But before we start, please take a moment and subscribe to the mr phone youtube channel if you haven’t yet and do hit that bell icon so that you’re notified whenever we post a brand new video with that said, let’s get started in terms of design and build. The vivo x60 pro reminds me quite a lot of the oppo renault 5, pro 5g Music. Anyway, no doubt the phone definitely feels sturdy and funny enough never did. I feel that this display is a large 6.6 inch curved amoled panel, because the ergonomics are great. The phone doesn’t feel cumbersome to hold at all the curves definitely help in providing a comfortable grip. The phone is about 7.6 mm in thickness, so quite slim and pretty light as well weighing just about 177 grams. This is the midnight black color of the x60 pro and i love the matte satin finish on the back quite similar to the vivo v20 pro’s rear finish, but this one is for sure much better there’s, also shimmer blue color variant of this phone, but i haven’t Seen that one in person, yet as for the protection there’s gorilla glass 6 at the back, while the front is protected by short sensation, glass and i hope i’m pronouncing that right coming back to the display.
Well, its quality is stunning. Of course it gets plenty bright. It has wide viewing angles and minimal color shifting i mean one of the best that i have seen on a smartphone also, the 120 hertz refresh rate and the 240 hertz touch sampling rate coupled with fun touch os definitely adds to a fast and fluid experience. Speaking of one touch os, this is the global 11.1 version based on android 11.. Initial thoughts would be that one touch os 11 is a big departure from its old versions, feels very close to stock android in terms of look and feel animations and transitions are snappy. The stock icons are a bit cartoonish now, and these could have been done better. Otherwise, lots of animation effects on offer that let you do the customization, according to your taste, now no ads up until now, which has been absolutely great and i hope it stays that way. Although spam notifications from the wii app store and i manager have been a problem – and i couldn’t help but disable their notifications for that matter – quite a lot of bloat, apps or even duplicate apps come pre installed, which is annoying but performance, wise onetouch, os 11. On the x60, pro has been a good and definitely watch out for my full review to know more 15 years, the vivo x60 pro is offered in a single variant: there’s 12 gb of lpddr4x ram, coupled with the non expandable 256 gb of ufs 3.
1 storage. At the time of recording this video, i did not have the pricing details, but once i know it, i will definitely add it as a pinned comment below so be sure to. Let me know what you guys think about the pricing in the comments now. This phone comes with what vivo is calling virtual ram, which adds an extra 3gb of ram from the phone’s internal storage whenever the available ddr ram is reaching its full capacity. So this technically makes it 15 gb ram on this phone and, to be honest guys, i can’t confirm whether the virtual ram helps or not or butter, to be frank ram management on this phone has been killer. I mean the phone’s ram can hold a ton of apps in memory and you can simply continue from where you left off. As for the snapdragon 870 chipset, i haven’t run into any performance based issues. Yet, although i have to do in depth testing to reach a conclusion, but so far so good, i mean, despite featuring a 4200 mah battery under the hood, the phone’s endurance has been good overall optimization for that matter has been nice once again. I’Ll only be able to share the details regarding the battery life once i test this phone in depth. Otherwise, charging times are decent you’re getting a 33 watt charger in the box, and a full charge normally takes about 75 minutes, which i think is okay and nothing groundbreaking.
Considering the battery is not that huge. Apart from this, the buttons on this phone offer amazing tactile feedback. The in display, fingerprint sensor is placed a little lower for my liking, but nonetheless very fast and accurate. Sadly, no headphone jack, no expandable storage. That i’ve already told you guys and also we’re getting a single speaker so that’s kind of a bummer. I was expecting a dual speaker setup, but this is what we get moving on to the camera. Well, triple rear setup running the show here, quite a pronounced camera bump and i dig the design. So the main lens here is a 48 megapixel image sensor: f, 1.5 aperture and gimbal stabilization 2.0. This is coupled with a 13 megapixel ultrawide lens and a 13 megapixel portrait lens at the front you’re getting a 32 megapixel camera for selfies in a center aligned hole punch. So initial impressions would be that this is a good camera system. I mean check out some of these photos, of course, there’s a slight color disparity if i would point out between the primary and ultra wide lenses, but overall things are looking promising and i can’t wait to test this out thoroughly. As for the video recording and this quick sample just blows away my mind at how smooth and jerk free, the footage is even the pants and movements look so natural. This gimbal stabilization thingy is definitely something now i’m, reserving my final judgment for the full review but, as i said, the camera system on the smartphone looks to be promising.
So please give me some time. Let me do some thorough testing and i’ll get back to you.
