My name is chrisman xmn and for today’s video we’re going to unbox and review the poco f3 and a sure show shout outs will be towards the end of this video. What we have here is a poco f3 knight black with 8 gigs of ram and 256 gigs of internal ufs 3.1 opening the box. We are greeted with a thank you card. Next is the small box which contains the sim ejector tool, speakers manual, headphone, jack, adapter and jelly case. Next is the phone itself, 33 watt, fast charger and usb type c charging cord. This phone has a snapdragon 870, which is an enhanced snapdragon, 865 plus found in gaming phones. Last year it supports 5g let’s, run a speed test using a 5g globe sim card, and the speed that you are getting here is very impressive. The phone’s design looks like a flagship smartphone, and i really like how it looks like the only thing that i don’t like about this collar is the super reflective back which attracts more fingerprints. The display and back of the phone is protected by gorilla glass, 5 and the frame, though this one is made up of plastic, which looks like metal at the bottom of the phone. We have here the sim card slot and also the sim card tray and the sim card tray does support dual sim. However, it does not support sd card for storage expansion, usb type c for charging and data transfer microphone and its first speaker at the top of the phone.
We have the second speaker, second microphone, light sensor and ir blaster at the right side. We have the volume, keys and power button, which also acts as a fingerprint scanner, and we don’t have anything at the left side of the phone. The screen size is 6.67 inch, e4 amoled display with a resolution of 1080 by 2400 pixels. It supports 120hz refresh rate hdr, plus 1 300 nits big brightness, and it also has the 360 hertz touch sampling rate for more responsive screens, especially for gaming. The phone has a good viewing angle, beautiful screen, color accurate, and you can also change the display settings based on your preference. Let’S run an antutu benchmark test. The phone got an impressive score of 671 858, comparing it to xiaomi mi 20. The poco f3 has a 30 486 lead points or 4.5 percent boost in performance. This phone has a flagship performance, especially it has the lpddr5 ram and ufs 3.1 for faster application launch time. Unlocking the phone is fast. Navigating the home screen is snappy. Opening social media is fast as well, and also scrolling is a breeze and smooth playing games is so smooth, especially for asphalt 9. All graphics has been rendered, especially the motion blur and reflection. Mobile legends is no different. It can run at ultra graphics without any issues. Call of duty at max settings runs smoothly without any issues for gangshin impact. The phone can run smoothly without any issues at max settings.
However, it tends to get hot faster. It is not just poco f3, even flagship phones. Does this too, since the game is graphic demanding, i would not recommend playing at max settings for long periods of time, since it will increase the temperature, which is bad for the battery and also the processor. During the course of testing the phone, i received an update, which is the miui version: 12.0.3 stable and what’s new here. Is it added the dolby effects for audio and, at the same time, it added the security patch to april 2021 increased system security? Now, with this update, it fixed the dimming issue as well. When i was testing the device for gaming, i have not experienced the dimming issue, so finally, it fixed with a miui version: 12.0.3 rkh, mi xm. The question is at what temperature does it consider as overheating? The answer for that is, 44 degrees celsius and, above more likely, 45 degrees celsius. Does poco f3. Has overheating issues let’s find out i’ll, be playing one session of mobile legends and check the temperature battery consumption? Now, before we play the games, we are going to run the temperature check first, so the running temperature of the device is at 35.5 degrees celsius and we are going to start with 100 battery. So with this test i will be connected to the mobile data. Music Applause, so after playing this game, we’re gon na check the temperature. So we are at 44.
3 or 44.3 degrees celsius and we just played 21 minutes of gameplay for mobile legends, so let’s check the remaining battery of the device. Basically, we are at 94, so we just consumed six percent of battery while playing 21 minutes of mobile legends. The temperature increased from 35 degrees celsius to 44 degrees celsius, which is within normal range let’s talk about the cameras. This phone has three cameras at the back, though it looks like it has four. First, we have the 48 megapixel f, 1.79 main eight megapixel, ultra wide f, 2.2 and lastly, 5 megapixel telemacro, f, 2.4. The one that looks like a camera is the third microphone for audio zoom feature which i may not use or may use in the future for vlogging at the front. It has a 20 megapixel selfie camera, which is a very small cut out here, and these are the videos and pictures taken on these cameras. Alright, so we are now vlogging using the front facing camera of the phone and let me know at the comment section below guys: how does it sound like and the stabilization i’m just walking, so we are going to switch to the back camera of the phone. Now. Switching at the back camera of the phone, so we have cards here. Let me know at the comment section below guys: how does it sound like and how is this stabilization? We have here some cats, Music and now for my final thoughts.
If you are on a budget – and you want a gaming phone more powerful than poco x3 pro then get the poco f3 so far, i’m enjoying using it. I have not experienced any throttling in performance. This phone has decent camera and an ok battery. I wish they have put 5000 mah but it’s.
